Opportunity:

RN - OR

Job Details:

• Work 8-hour shifts, 5 days per week with flexible start times between 7:00 AM-3:30 PM and 9:00 AM-5:30 PM
• Participate in weekday and weekend call rotation with one weeknight on-call 7:00 PM-7:00 AM
• One weekend day on-call 7:00 AM-7:00 PM per month required
• Holiday call rotation as needed
• 20-minute call response time required
• Float to outpatient surgery as needed
• 2-3 years of OR experience required, as well as 2-3 previous travel assignments
• Ortho/Neuro experience preferred
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS, and PALS
• Work in 1:1 nurse-to-patient ratio environment
• Handle all surgical cases except open heart procedures including neuro spine, total joints, open fractures, general surgery, and ENT
• Scrubbing experience is a plus but not required
• Work with EPIC charting system
• Scrubs provided for RNs
• 3-shift floor-specific orientation provided
• No self-scheduling for travelers, but block scheduling allowed if it meets unit needs
• Driver's license address must be outside 50 miles from facility
• Unexpired driver's license copy required for submission
