Opportunity:

RN - ER

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend requirement with holiday rotation alongside permanent staff
• Maintain 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio in emergency department setting
• 2 years of specialty experience required plus 1 travel contract
• Must reside within 75-mile radius of facility
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), PALS (AHA), NIHSS, TNCC
• 3-shift floor-specific orientation required
• Dress code: Hunter green pants, white top, white jacket
• Use MEDITECH electronic medical record system
• Care for patients ranging from neonates to geriatrics
• Handle minor walk-in cases to trauma situations
• Stabilize trauma patients for air evacuation transport
• Work in 12-bed emergency department with 2 trauma bays and 1 seclusion room
• Support fast track clinic with 4 rooms for lower acuity patients (ESI 4-5)
• Perform own lab draws and IV insertions
• Average 70 patients per day volume
• No floating to other units
• Cancellation policy allows 12 hours every 2 weeks
