Description
Opportunity:
Echo Technologist - Echo Tech
Job Details:
• Work 8-hour shifts Monday through Friday with rotating start times (7:00 AM-4:30 PM)
• Saturday shifts from 7:00 AM-3:30 PM
• Every 5th weekend requirement (staffed Saturday; on-call Sunday)
• On-call coverage with 30-minute response time
• No holiday requirement
• Perform 6-8 studies per day including adult transthoracic echos, stress echos, and transesophageal echos
• 2+ years of experience preferred
• Must be registered as RDCS or RCS from Cardiovascular Credentialing International
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), RDCS
• Work with Philips Epiq and Philips IE33 equipment
• Use Epic EMR and McKesson CPACS systems
• Must start IVs when able
• Active Illinois license required
• 12 hours of non-billable orientation provided
• No specific scrub color requirement, scrubs not provided
• Must pass drug screening for all panels
• Department-specific orientation includes floor and wing locations
Facility:
This acute care medical facility operates as a Level 1 trauma center providing comprehensive cardiovascular services. The echo department features 2 outpatient rooms with inpatient echos performed at bedside. The facility maintains modern imaging equipment and has cardiologists available to read exams. A radiology supervisor or lead tech is present on each shift to provide support and guidance.

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
