Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• Patient ratios: Days 1:4, Nights 1:5
• Care for adult and geriatric patients on 28-bed medical-surgical unit
• Must pass open book skills exam on Friday during orientation with 90% score to continue
• Weekend and holiday requirements vary per need
• May float to emergency department for 1:1 patient sitting as needed
• Charge nurse present on each shift with 1:10 patient ratio
• Nurse aids/patient care techs available with 1:10 patient ratio
• Classroom orientation plus one 12-hour shift on the floor
• Use EPIC charting system
• Must live outside 50-mile radius and cannot be employed with CommonSpirit facilities
• Driver's license required for distance verification
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Artificial nails prohibited - refusal to remove leads to contract termination
• BLS certification required, ACLS preferred
• Schedule managed by scheduler - no block scheduling
• Hospital may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment
