Opportunity:

RN - Tele Float Pool

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
• Float throughout Zone 4 with a 60-mile radius from Garden City center
• Must float between three facilities: Bob Wilson Memorial Hospital, St. Catherine-Dodge City, and St. Catherine-Garden City
• Work 6-9 weekend shifts in a 6-week schedule
• May be required to work holidays as part of holiday rotation
• Float across multiple units including General MS-Tele, Cardiac, Neuro, Oncology, Rehab, Renal, Bariatrics, Ortho, Trauma, and ED Obs
• May float to various acuity levels including ICU (low acuity holds), PCU/Stepdown, and MS-Tele
• Nurse to patient ratio of 1:5-6 based on acuity
• Care for adult-geriatric population with various diagnoses including cardiac, neuro, ortho, oncology, renal, post-surgical patients
• Required to titrate Heparin drips
• Must have 2 years of MS-Tele experience within the last 3 years
• Preferred experience with neuro patients, Alaris pumps, and EPIC charting system
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), NIHSS
• Schedule created by leadership for 6-week periods with expected flexibility
• Rare call or standby requirements for low census
• Hospital may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment
• One week of orientation required with presence in state
