Opportunity:
MRI Tech - MRI Tech
Job Details:
• Work 8-hour shifts with start times: 1st shift 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM, 2nd shift 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM, or 3rd shift 10:00 PM - 6:30 AM
• Weekend requirement of 1 weekend per month
• Holiday coverage possible
• No call or standby requirements
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), RTR MR
• Must have knowledge of operating GE MRI scanners 1.5T (450W) and 3T (750W)
• Must understand MRI safety guidelines and standard acquisition sequences for MRI scanning
• Must be able to start IVs
• Work with outpatients, inpatients, and ED patients
• Use Epic EMR system and GE department-specific equipment
• Work alongside MRI Tech assistant (1 per 8-hour shift)
• Department-specific orientation: 1 week depending on familiarity with GE scanner type
• Must wear standard solid colored scrubs (scrubs not provided)
• Tattoos must be covered
• Must maintain negative drug screen for all panels
• 12 non-billable orientation hours

This healthcare facility is a Level 1 trauma center providing comprehensive acute care services. The radiology department features advanced imaging technology including GE MRI scanners and utilizes Epic electronic medical records system. The facility maintains high standards for patient care and employs registered radiology assistants to support the imaging team in delivering quality diagnostic services.

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
