Opportunity:

RN - ER

Job Details:

• Work 3-12 hour shifts per week with potential for overtime
• Available shift times: 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM, 10:45 AM to 11:15 PM, 3:00 PM to 3:00 AM, 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
• Every other weekend requirement and rotational holidays as needed
• Cannot accommodate blocked scheduling
• No call or standby requirements
• No floating requirements
• Nurse to patient ratio of 1:4
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS, PALS
• TNCC preferred but not required
• Critical care skill set required to manage cardiac dysrhythmias, critical drips, BiPap, CPAP, and mechanical ventilation
• Radial ABG draw experience required
• Manage all critical care drips, TPA, sedation, paralytics
• Care for patients with sepsis, medical and surgical conditions, overdose, trauma, COPD across all age groups
• Dress code: Navy scrubs (solid color, no embroidery/patterns), closed-toed shoes only, no crocs
• Charting system: EPIC
• Orientation includes general hospital orientation, full day nursing orientation, computer training, and two 12-hour shifts with preceptor
• BSN not required

Facility:

This healthcare facility operates a 28-bed emergency department designated as a P4 Trauma Center with STEMI and stroke receiving capabilities. The emergency department features 2 designated trauma/code rooms, 2 psych/seclusion rooms, and treats an average of 70-75 patients daily. The facility maintains 24/7 security stationed outside the emergency department and provides comprehensive emergency services with ED physicians and mid-level providers. The department includes dedicated ER technicians for EKGs, transport, and vital signs, with respiratory therapy available 24/7 on call.
