Opportunity:

RN - ICU

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 6-9 weekend shifts required in a 6-week schedule
• Patient ratios of 1:1-2 dependent on acuity, may flex up to 1:3
• 1:1 ratio for high acuity patients requiring CRRT, IABP, Impella, etc.
• Must have 2 years of ICU experience required
• First-time travelers need 3+ years of ICU experience and Epic experience
• Required certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), NIHSS
• Must be comfortable titrating all critical drips including pressors, sedation, paralytics, antiarrhythmics, heparin, and insulin
• Work in combination ICU setting (MICU, SICU, TICU, CVICU)
• Expected to read and interpret own telemetry strips
• Assist with respiratory equipment troubleshooting and management
• May float to other acuity levels including PCU/Stepdown and MS-Tele
• 1-2 days orientation with preceptor
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Any color scrubs allowed
• Schedule made by leadership for 6 weeks at a time with flexibility required
• Rare call requirements for low census situations
• May be placed in holiday rotation

The facility utilizes modern technology including Epic electronic health records and maintains dedicated respiratory therapy support for critically ill patients requiring ventilator management and advanced respiratory interventions.
