Opportunity:

Radiation Therapist - Radiation Therapist

Job Details:

• Work Monday through Friday with variable start times between 6:00 AM and 9:00 AM
• Treatment hours typically run from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• 5x8 day shifts with weekends as needed
• No weekend, holiday, or call requirements
• Must have minimum 2-3 years of radiation therapy experience
• Must have Varian True Beam experience (required for Treasure Valley locations)
• Must have True Beam and Triology experience for Twin Falls position
• Must be proficient with ARIA (EMR to record and verify)
• Epic experience preferred
• Triology experience preferred
• IV experience preferred but not required
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA or ARC), ARRT-Radiation Therapy
• Perform 3D, IMRT, SBRT, SRT/SRS treatments and occasional CT simulation
• Handle 20-40 scans/studies per day depending on site
• May float between Treasure Valley facilities (Boise, Meridian, Nampa, Fruitland) if needed
• Twin Falls positions remain at that location only
• Always work with at least 2 treating therapists per shift
• Clean, neat scrubs of any color or appropriate pattern, or business casual attire
• Department-specific orientation provided, usually 1 shift per site
• Use ARIA and Epic charting systems
• Work with Varian, Siemens, and Toshiba equipment

This comprehensive cancer institute operates multiple radiation therapy locations across the region, featuring state-of-the-art linear accelerators and CT simulators. The facility maintains consistent equipment and setup across all sites, with 5 radiation oncologists and 2 midlevels serving the Treasure Valley area, and 2 providers at the Twin Falls location. The organization has successfully integrated travelers into their program, with some transitioning to permanent positions, and provides supportive leadership with supervisors and leads available on each shift.
