Description
Opportunity:
RN - Med Surg Inpatient
Job Details:
• Work 12-hour shifts starting at 6:45 AM
• Patient ratio of 1:6 with CNA support at 1:8 to 1:10 ratio
• Every other weekend requirement
• On-call responsibilities during low census periods
• Holiday rotation with permanent staff
• Must wear Caribbean Blue scrubs
• Float to Ortho/Neuro, Oncology, Acute Care, and JFW units
• Must be flexible with changing assignments during shifts
• Strict 75-mile radius rule with current driver's license copy required in profile
• Minimum 2 full years experience in Acute Care Med Surg unit in large hospital setting required
• One successful travel assignment required - no first-time travelers accepted
• Floor-specific orientation provided
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), NIHSS
• EMR system: Meditech
• Telemetry monitoring available on different units
• Equipment includes BIPAP, CPAP, Vapotherm, and Draegar vents
• IV team not available, but PICC team on site
• 24/7 respiratory therapy and pharmacy support available

I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
