Opportunity:

IR Technologist (Interventional Radiology) - IR Tech

Job Details:

• Work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM schedule
• 40 hours per week with 4-10 hour shifts (7:00 AM to 5:30 PM)
• On-call requirements: 1-2 shifts per week plus every 3rd or 4th weekend
• Possible holiday call with 30-minute callback time
• Cover both vascular and neuro interventional radiology procedures
• Perform 20-30 cases per day depending on provider coverage
• Work with Canon equipment in Body/Vascular IR rooms and Siemens Artis Q and Siemens Iconos in Neuro rooms
• Utilize GE ultrasound equipment in all rooms
• Must excel in cerebral procedures, coiling, kyphoplasty, spine work, stroke therapy, and carotid stenting
• Monitor and interpret hemodynamic monitoring
• Maintain sterile technique while assembling supplies
• Prepare entry sites using sterile technique
• Continuously monitor patient ECG and blood pressure with accurate documentation
• Participate in on-call rotation and remain available for emergent procedures 24 hours a day
• Act as laboratory code team initiating resuscitative measures under physician supervision
• Document all procedures and participate in inventory management
• Required certifications: ARRT(R), BLS required, ACLS preferred
• Radiation badge must be provided by agency
• Scrubs provided by facility
• Use EPIC charting system
• 2 shifts cancellation policy per 13-week contract
