Opportunity:

RN - ICU

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 6:30 PM or night shifts from 6:30 PM to 6:30 AM
• Manager creates schedule based on unit needs
• Every other weekend requirement
• Holiday requirement: 2 out of 3 major holidays or every other as needed
• Float to all inpatient units excluding Maternity/NICU
• Must live more than 50 miles from facility (radius rule applies)
• Cannot be employed full-time, part-time, or PRN with any CommonSpirit facility
• Driver's license required at submission to verify distance requirement
• Navy blue scrubs required
• 2 shifts of unit-specific orientation provided
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
• Must pass open book skills exam on Friday during orientation with 90% or higher
• Artificial nails prohibited - refusal to remove leads to contract termination
• 34-bed Medical Surgical ICU with 1:1-2 nurse-to-patient ratios
• Care for adults and pediatric patients over 15 years old
• Titrate vasopressors, paralytics, narcotics, sedation, and antiarrhythmic drips
• Work with advanced equipment including CVPs, arterial lines, Swan-Ganz catheters, ICP monitoring
• Use EPIC charting system
• RTO required upfront (7 or fewer days per 13-week contract)
• Hospital can cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment
