Opportunity:

Cath Lab Technologist - Cardiac Cath Lab

Job Details:

• Work 4 rotating 10-hour shifts per week
• Day shift: 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM or afternoon shift: 9:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• On-call coverage required from 4:30 PM to 6:00 AM with 30-minute response time
• Weekend and holiday call coverage required
• Scrub and document cases in 3 cardiac catheterization labs handling 15-18 cases per day on average
• Assist physicians with all electrophysiology (EP) procedures
• Monitor and circulate cases in EP lab
• Operate EP recording systems including Carto and Abbott equipment
• Stock procedure rooms and maintain equipment
• Work exclusively in Cath Lab and EP - no floating requirements
• Must have experience with Impella, IABP, INARI, electrophysiology procedures, PVC, PT, Crio or transeptal ablations, laser lead extractions, and device work
• Use EPIC charting system and Toshiba imaging equipment
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, WVRT license, ARRT (R), ARRT (CI), or ARRT (VI)
• OR scrubs provided daily
• Unit-specific orientation provided
• Cancellation policy allows 2 shifts per 13-week contract

This major academic medical center operates a comprehensive cardiac catheterization laboratory with three state-of-the-art suites specializing in interventional cardiology and electrophysiology procedures. The facility handles a high volume of cardiac cases and utilizes advanced technology including EP recording systems and specialized cardiac intervention equipment. The cardiac services department maintains 24/7 coverage and provides complex cardiac care including device implantation, ablation procedures, and emergency cardiac interventions.
