Opportunity:

Ultrasound Tech - Ultrasound Tech

Job Details:

• Work 4/10 hour night shifts Monday through Thursday from 8:00 PM to 6:30 AM
• Day call requirement of 2-4 weekend days per month (dependent on staffing)
• Holiday requirements apply to holidays that fall on scheduled days
• Required certifications: BLS, BLS (AHA), RDMS, Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) via ARDMS Certificate
• Must have experience in General, OB, and Vascular ultrasound
• Perform average of 10 scans/studies per day
• Common imaging types include vascular studies (LEV, LEA, UEV, UEA, Carotid), abdominal scans (RUQ, renal, abdominal and renal doppler), pelvic studies (transabdominal and transvaginal), OB studies (1st trimesters, BPP, UAD, Growth), small parts (thyroid, scrotum), and pediatric scans (neonatal heads, renals, appendix)
• Work with 3 scanners in 2 rooms using GE equipment
• Use Epic charting system, Synapse and Viewpoint PACS systems
• May float to cover St. Francis Interquest weekend call
• No IV starts required
• Dress code: Royal blue top with black pants
• 2-week department specific orientation required
• Must provide own radiation badge
• 60-mile radius requirement with driver's license submission required
