Opportunity:

RN - ER

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
• Schedule includes 3 shifts weekly with weekend requirements (every other weekend)
• Block schedules and self-scheduling options available
• Every other holiday requirement
• No floating outside of the emergency department
• No on-call or standby requirements
• Patient ratio of 1:6 depending on staffing and acuity levels
• Team-based approach with 2 RNs per shift
• Handle approximately 20 patients per day in 12-bed unit with 2 trauma bays
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NRP (all AHA certified)
• Must be able to perform ABGs and draw own labs
• Prefer more than 1 year of ER experience
• Must submit unexpired copy of driver's license with application
• Work with common diagnoses including geriatric patients, pediatrics, pneumonia, CHF, and COPD
• Use EPIC EMR system and TruBridge-Evident charting system
• Any color scrubs or prints allowed
• One day orientation with preceptor
• Cancellation policy: 2 shifts per 13-week contract
• BSN not required
