Description
Opportunity:
Cath Lab Technologist - Cardiac Cath Lab
Job Details:
• Work day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM with call responsibilities
• Call requirements: 8-10 days of call in a 6-week period
• May work past normal end time to complete all cases
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Must have procedural experience with ability to scrub, monitor, and document
• Experience with sedation and Phase 1 recovery required
• ICU or PACU experience preferred
• EPIC experience preferred
• Required certifications: ACLS, ARRT, BLS, and Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS)
• Must be experienced in Cath Lab and EP procedures
• Knowledge of IABP & Impella insertion required
• Handle right and left heart catheterizations with or without intervention
• Work with structural heart and vascular cases including TAVR and mitral clip procedures
• Scrub uniforms provided
• May float between Cath Lab and EP lab as part of combined unit team approach
• Work with EPIC charting system, MacLab, and GE imaging equipment
• One week unit-specific orientation provided
• Average 22 total cases per day between Cath Lab and EP (may start with 15 and take up to 15 add-on cases)

Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
