Opportunity:

RN - Tele Float Pool

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts with weekend requirements every other weekend
• Float pool position covering multiple units of varying acuity levels
• Self-scheduling with 3 twelve-hour shifts per week
• Schedule made 4 weeks at a time with assignments received via text message within 2 hours of shift start
• Must have 5 years of nursing experience with preference for 1 year ICU or ED experience
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS (if working in CCU or ED)
• Must be comfortable with patient ratios ranging from 1:2 to 1:10 depending on unit assignment
• Float to various units including CCU, IMC, Medical Surgical levels, Skilled Care, and ED based on skillset
• Expected to titrate critical drips including Heparin when working in ED or CCU
• Must be able to read and interpret telemetry strips, print strips, perform measurements, and identify rhythms
• Responsible for troubleshooting respiratory equipment including vents, CPAP, BiPAP, and high flow oxygen
• One day orientation plus one day with preceptor for assigned unit
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Must provide copy of unexpired driver's license (50-mile radius rule applies)
• Use Cerner charting system
• May be placed in holiday rotation split between Group A and Group B
• No call or standby requirements
• Daily timesheet completion required
