Opportunity:
Cath Lab Technologist - Cardiac Cath Lab
Job Details:
• Work 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts with every other weekend schedule
• On-call requirements: 1 night per week and 1 weekend per month (every 6th weekend)
• Call crew stays until all cases for the day are completed with day off after call
• Handle 15-20 cases per day in 4-room Cath Lab and IR department
• Work with critically ill patients including STEMI cases as facility is a STEMI receiving center
• Required certifications: BLS, CRT, ARRT, Fluoroscopy (RCIS not accepted)
• Must have X-ray experience and peripheral/coronary circulation experience
• CERNER experience required for charting system
• Must complete all MyJourney modules prior to arrival
• Work with advanced equipment including Siemens/Phillips systems, laser, rotablator, nitric oxide, IVUS, Impella, IABP, FFR, angiojet
• Scrubs provided by facility
• Agency must provide radiation badge for traveler
• No floating required with 1-2 days of unit orientation
• Experience with Merge system preferred but not required

This acute care medical facility features a comprehensive cardiac catheterization laboratory and interventional radiology department with 4 specialized rooms. The facility operates as a STEMI receiving center, handling numerous emergency cardiac cases each month. The department is supported by 24/7 cardiology services, respiratory therapy, and in-house pharmacy, with charge nursing coverage during day hours and circulation nurses providing leadership after hours.

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
