Opportunity:

IR Technologist (Interventional Radiology) - IR Tech

Job Details:

• Work Monday through Friday with variable start and stop times based on scheduled cases
• Handle 5-10 cases per day on average in 2 suites/labs
• Scrub and assist physicians with sterile technique procedures
• Perform diagnostic left and right heart caths, PCI, IABP, Impella, temporary pacemaker, TCAR, EVAR, EKOS, AIF, IVC filters, Infusaports, and Permacaths
• Work with Siemens software and equipment and EPIC charting system
• Handle neuroradiology and vascular IR procedures
• One year of cath lab or radiology tech experience required
• EKOS experience preferred but training provided
• Required certifications: ARRT and BLS
• On-call requirement: One week per four-week schedule (Monday 7 AM to following Monday 7 AM)
• Weekend call: Friday after hours until Monday 7 AM when not on weekly call
• Holiday coverage on rotational basis
• 30-minute call response time required
• No floating requirements unless seeking extra hours
• Surgical attire provided (lead not provided)
• General hospital orientation plus up to 36 hours of department-specific training
