Opportunity:

RN - OR

Job Details:

• Work 10-hour shifts, 4 days per week, Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Weekend and weekday call rotation required
• One weekend day on-call 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM per month
• One weeknight on-call 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Holiday call rotation as needed
• Call response time must be within 20 minutes
• Float to outpatient surgery as needed
• Work in main OR with 14 suites averaging 28 cases per day with 5 add-ons
• 1:1 nurse to patient ratio in OR
• Handle all surgical cases except open heart including neuro spine, total joints, open fractures, general surgery, and ENT
• 3-shift floor-specific orientation required
• No floating between units
• Scrubs provided
• Use EPIC charting system
• Work with vents and respiratory therapy support available 24/7
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS, and PALS
• 2-3 years of OR experience required plus 2-3 previous travel assignments
• Orthopedic/Neurology experience preferred
• Scrubbing experience is a plus but not required
• Driver's license address must be outside 50 miles from facility
