Description
Opportunity:
RN - ER
Job Details:
• Work 12-hour shifts with varying start times: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, 10:00 AM - 10:00 PM, or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
• Weekend and holiday requirements - will fill in where there is a need
• Nurse to patient ratio of 1:3-5 depending on assignment
• 3 shifts of unit-specific orientation (12-hour shifts each)
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC
• Must be able to read and interpret telemetry strips independently
• Care for patients from pediatrics through geriatrics with all typical emergency department presentations
• May occasionally float to assist on Medical/Surgical and ICU units when needed
• Work in 14 regular beds and 2 large trauma bays
• One CNA functions as both ward clerk and nursing assistant on each shift
• Charge nurse present on each shift who also takes patient assignments
• Use MEDITECH charting system
• BSN not required
• Must pass fit testing requirements - facial hair restrictions apply
• Self-scheduling available with manager typically handling traveler schedules
• Hospital may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment
• RTO needed upfront (7 or less days per 13-week contract)

I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
