Opportunity:

RN - Tele

Job Details:

• Work 3 twelve-hour day shifts per week from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Rotating weekends required (every other weekend: Saturday/Sunday for day shifts)
• Rotating holidays as needed based on unit requirements
• Patient ratio of 1:5 for both day and night shifts
• Required certifications: ACLS (AHA) and BLS (AHA)
• BSN degree not required
• Opportunities for precepting and charge responsibilities
• Work with telemetry patients including elevated troponin, active chest pain, pre/post cardiac catheterization, NSTEMI, pacers, and post-surgical patients
• Use Phillips cardiac monitors and document cardiac strips every 4 hours
• Manage set-rate drips including Cardizem, Amiodarone, Labetalol, Dopamine, Dobutamine, Heparin, Integrilin, and Nitroglycerin
• Work on PCU/Telemetry units with plans for 2nd floor to transition to step-down acuity
• Rarely required to float, but may float to ICU overflow, telemetry, or ortho/med-surg if needed
• Use EPIC electronic medical record system
• Dress code requires navy blue scrubs with navy or white jacket, natural hair colors only
• 1-2 day floor-specific orientation depending on experience
• Must have driver's license address outside 50 miles from facility
• Client may cancel 2 shifts per 13-week assignment
