Opportunity:
Rad Tech - X-Ray Tech - 151
Job Details:
• Work rotating 8-hour shifts including dayshift, evenings, midnights, weekends, and holidays
• Hospital shift times: 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM and 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM
• Outpatient Center shift: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
• Saturday shift: 6:30 AM - 12:30 PM (rotational coverage required)
• 24/7 department with rotating call and weekend requirements
• 30-minute response time for call requirements
• Perform imaging for both inpatient and outpatient areas as required
• Work with 2 designated X-ray rooms (one for inpatient, one for outpatient) plus 2 portable units
• Handle 200+ scans/studies per day on patients of all ages
• Average daily volume Monday-Friday is 25-32 studies between both sites
• Must provide own radiation badge (agency responsibility, not facility provided)
• Required certifications: BLS and ARRT certification
• Light grey scrubs provided
• Customized department-specific orientation based on traveler experience
• Work with Cerner charting system (transitioning to Epic)
• No IV starts required
• No emergency call duties
• License hits must be disclosed at time of submission

This healthcare facility operates a comprehensive radiology department with advanced imaging capabilities including two 1.5 Tesla MRI magnets - a Siemens Espree at the hospital site and a Toshiba Atlas at the Outpatient Center. The facility provides both contrast and non-contrast studies at the hospital site, while the Outpatient Center focuses on non-contrast studies. The organization maintains high patient volumes and utilizes third-party radiology services with on-site radiologist coverage Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
