Description
Opportunity:
IR Technologist (Interventional Radiology) - IR Tech
Job Details:
• Work 8-hour day shifts Monday through Friday (8:30 AM - 5:00 PM or 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM)
• Possible Saturday shifts required
• No call requirements
• No floating outside of Radiology department
• Level I trauma experience required
• Work with 2 general IR suites, 1 spine IR room, and 2 neuro endo suites
• Handle 5-10 cases per day
• Common procedures include GI/GJ tubes, ports, angios, lumbar punctures, myelograms, neph tubes, stents, IVC filters, blood patches
• Neuro endovascular procedures, embolizations, stents, and stroke treatment when applicable
• Scrub experience preferred
• Equipment includes Philips Allera and Medrad injector
• EMR systems: Cerner and DR (PACS)
• Required certifications: ARRT (R), Arizona license MRTBE-CRT, BLS Certification
• VI certificate is a plus but not required
• Sedation cases involve 2 RNs with RT scrubbing with MD
• Manager interviews required

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
