Opportunity:

RN - ICU

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Rotating weekends and holidays required
• 4 weekend shifts required in a 4-week schedule (Friday/Saturday for night shift)
• Patient ratios of 1:3-5 depending on acuity level
• Work in 10-bed unit (5 ICU and 5 Telemetry beds)
• Care for patients ranging from trauma to surgical cases, COPD, ventilated overdoses, and COVID patients
• Manage ventilators, BiPAP, CPAP, and high-flow oxygen equipment
• Administer IV drips and provide critical care interventions
• Use EPIC electronic medical record system
• Phillips cardiac monitoring system with hard-wired ICU monitors
• May float to Medical/Surgical unit with 1:5-6 patient ratios (rare occurrence)
• One shift orientation with preceptor on the unit
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), PALS preferred
• NIHSS certification is a plus
• Navy blue scrubs required (traveler provides own), neat and clean appearance
• Natural hair colors only, excessive tattoos must be covered
• Cancellation policy allows 2 shifts per 13-week contract
• Positive attitude and willingness to work required
