Ultrasound Tech - Ultrasound Tech

Job Details:

• Work weekend shifts Saturday and Sunday 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• 24 guaranteed hours per week
• Potential to fill in during weekday shifts if needed as last resort
• Perform general ultrasound examinations including DVT studies, abdomen, small parts, OB, GYN, and some pediatrics
• Complete 8-10 scans/studies per day
• Must be experienced in upper and lower extremity DVT, abdomen, appendix, pelvic/GYN, first trimester OB, third trimester OB procedures, basic pediatrics, scrotal, and thyroid examinations
• Comfortable assisting in OR for emergency instances on evening shift
• Take approximately 3 overnight call shifts per month
• During training period will work some day shifts to learn protocols and procedures
• Must maintain clean and stocked examination rooms
• Work independently and competently with all required examinations
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) via ARDMS
• Scrubs required in any solid color (not provided)
• 1-2 weeks of department orientation plus single day hospital orientation
• Use EPIC charting system and Centricity UV PACS
• Work with Phillips Elite and Parks Flo Lab equipment in 5-room department
