Opportunity:

IR Technologist (Interventional Radiology) - IR Tech

Job Details:

• Work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with on-call responsibilities
• 40 hours per week schedule
• Call requirements: 1-2 shifts per week PLUS every 3rd or 4th weekend
• Possible holiday call with 30-minute callback time
• Cover both vascular and neuro interventional radiology procedures
• Perform 20-30 cases per day depending on provider coverage
• Required certifications: ARRT(R) and BLS certification
• ACLS certification preferred
• Radiation badge required (provided by agency)
• Scrubs provided by facility
• Work with Canon equipment in Body/Vascular IR rooms
• Work with Siemens Artis Q and Siemens Iconos in Neuro rooms
• Use GE ultrasound equipment in all rooms
• Must demonstrate above average skills in cerebrals, coilings, kyphoplasty, spine work, stroke therapy, and carotid stenting
• Monitor and interpret hemodynamic monitoring
• Maintain sterile technique and prepare entry sites for procedures
• Continuously monitor patient ECG and blood pressure
• Participate in on-call rotation for emergent procedures 24 hours a day
• Document all procedures and participate in inventory management
• Use EPIC charting system
• 2 shifts cancellation policy per 13-week contract
