Opportunity:
RN - OR
Job Details:
• Work 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM shifts in a 19-suite operating room
• Handle 55-60 cases per day, approximately 1000 cases per month
• Must live within 75-mile radius from hospital address on driver's license
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
• Use MEDITECH electronic medical record system
• Scrubs provided by facility
• Weekend requirement approximately once per quarter
• Call requirement varies - general on average every 7th weekend, no weekday call
• Specialty teams (ortho/neuro and cardio/thoracic) take call every night
• 30-minute call response time required
• Must rotate holidays with permanent staff and maintain flexibility
• One week floor-specific orientation provided
• Scrubbing not required but preferred for RNs
• Minimum 2-3 years of operating room experience required
• Must demonstrate basic competency in almost every service
• Handle full service cases except major pediatrics, transplants, and C-sections
• Cancellation policy allows 12 hours every 2 weeks
• BSN not required
• Must be reliable with good attendance and punctuality

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
