RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

RN - Acute Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour shifts from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM
• Every other weekend requirement
• Holiday coverage as needed
• Patient ratios of 1:5, possibly 1:6 for both day and night shifts
• Must live within 75-mile radius from hospital (verified by driver's license address)
• Minimum 2 years of acute care medical surgical experience required
• At least 1 successful travel contract required
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA) and NIHSS (both must be AHA)
• Scrub color requirement: Caribbean Blue
• Float to all acute care and cardio units for medical patients, or EC for acute care patient holds
• Work on 44-bed unit with telemetry monitoring (monitored on different unit)
• CNA support available with 1:8 to 1:10 ratios
• MEDITECH EMR system (experience preferred but not required)
• General orientation: 1 week including EMR training
• Floor-specific orientation: 2 days
• BSN not required
