Opportunity:

RN - ER

Job Details:

• Work three 12-hour day shifts per week with 36-hour guarantee
• Maintain 1:3 or 1:4 nurse to patient ratio
• Work in 30-bed emergency department with all private rooms including 6-room EDOU observation unit
• Support 6 fast track beds with PA for minor non-urgent cases
• Care for average of 100 patients per day including trauma, cardiac, and neurological cases
• Work in Level IV Trauma Center with 1 seclusion room and 5 additional monitored rooms
• Support staff includes 5 techs during peak hours
• Required certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), NIHSS, PALS (AHA), TNCC
• Minimum 2 years RN experience required
• Use Allscripts Sunrise EMR system and Omnicell medication system
• Scrub color: anything except all black (scrubs not provided)
• BSN degree not required
• 3 cancellations allowed per 13-week assignment
