Description
RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.
Opportunity:
RN - Wound Care Inpatient
Job Details:
• Work Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM on a 4/10 schedule
• Treat minimum 5-15 patients per day depending on new consults
• Work with 3-4 other RNs in the wound care role
• No weekend, holiday, call, or standby requirements
• Float to other facilities as needed, sometimes planned in advance
• Manage and coordinate patient care and wound management with consults and recommendations
• Handle ostomies, draining wounds, fistulas, pressure ulcers, vascular and arterial wounds, diabetic ulcerations
• Provide wound assessment, prevention education, and interdisciplinary collaboration
• Complete documentation and billing, discharge planning for supplies
• Use phone for photo documentation and Smith and Nephew wound vacs
• Chart in EPIC system
• Required certifications: BLS, CWON (Certified Wound Ostomy Nurse), WCC via NAWCO, and Washington RN license
• No previous travel experience required
• BSN not required
• No specific scrub color preference
• Orientation provided to all hospitals with preceptor and documentation education
• Hospital can cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment, 3 shifts for shorter assignments

Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
