Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day/night rotating shifts
• Weekend shifts scheduled as needed, typically half of total weekends
• Patient ratio of 1:6/7 (up to 1:7 patients per nurse)
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), NIHSS
• Must wear navy blue scrubs
• 30-bed medical surgical unit in acute care setting
• Care for patients with CHF, COPD, cellulitis, pneumonia, urosepsis, and AKI
• Work with PCTs (Patient Care Technicians) on the unit
• Titrate heparin drips based on APTT results
• Monitor telemetry patients (watched remotely by monitor techs)
• Use EPIC charting system
• Float to other units as needed based on census
• Cancellation policy allows up to 2 shifts per 13-week contract
• No standby or call requirements
• Must provide copy of unexpired driver's license with submission
• Must be within 50-mile radius of facility
• BSN not required
