RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - PACU

Job Details:

• Work 10-hour shifts from 9:00 AM to 7:30 PM with call responsibilities
• 4/10 schedule (four 10-hour shifts per week)
• Required to take 3 weeknight call shifts (7:30 PM to 7:00 AM) per month with the day off following call
• One 24-hour weekend call requirement per month
• Occasional holiday requirements
• May occasionally float to other units as helping hands
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS
• BSN degree not required
• Must be team focused, positive, and competent in patient care
• Same Day Surgery experience preferred as teams provide both pre and post care
• Work with SADU (8 beds) at 2:1 ratio and Recovery/PACU (10 beds) at 2:1 and 1:1 ratios
• Care for patients with ortho issues, general surgery, GYN, and ENT outpatient procedures
• Use EPIC charting system
• Scrubs provided for shifts
• Unit-specific orientation provided based on RN needs and experience
• Hospital can cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment
