RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

RN - ICU/CCU Float Pool

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour shifts starting at 6:45 AM or 6:45 PM
• Float between MICU, SICU, and CCU units as part of integrated pod system
• Patient ratios of 1:2 depending on acuity, with 1:1 for open heart patients
• Every other weekend requirement with flexible holiday scheduling
• Minimum 2 years of experience required in both ICU and PCU settings
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and Georgia RN license
• Dress code: Forest green or white pants with white top
• Work with MEDITECH 6.15 charting system
• Handle high acuity patients including sepsis, DKA, pneumonia, ARDS, cardiovascular surgeries
• Perform patient assessments, manage standard ICU drips, and work with Draeger ventilators
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and patient presentations
• May float to stepdown unit or ED for tasks as needed
• Floor-specific orientation of 2 shifts provided
• Cancellation policy allows 12 hours every 2 weeks
• No first-time travelers accepted
