Allied Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

Sonographer - Echo

Job Details:

• Work 5 eight-hour day shifts with preference for 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM schedule
• Perform pediatric and fetal echocardiography studies
• Average of 8 scans/studies per day
• Work exclusively in the pediatric echo department within the children's hospital
• Use Philips EPIQ7 equipment for imaging
• Chart using EPIC electronic medical record system
• Call may be involved and will be discussed further during interview
• Weekend requirements are not typical
• No holiday requirements
• No IV start requirements
• Light grey scrubs preferred but can wear existing scrub uniforms
• Children-appropriate scrub tops acceptable
• Department-specific orientation provided
• Required certifications: ARDMS, BLS Certification, Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer Pediatric Echocardiography (RDCS-PE)
• BSN degree not required
• Must have clean work history and strong references
• Cancellation policy allows 2 shifts per 13-week contract
