RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

RN - Acute Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour shifts in a 36-bed acute care unit
• Every other weekend requirement
• Holiday coverage required
• Patient ratios: RN/LPN 6:1, CNA 12:1
• Minimum 1 year experience in hospital med-surg units required
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), NIHSS
• ACLS preferred
• Dress code: White tops, hunter green pants
• Use Meditech EMR system
• May serve as charge nurse
• Telemetry monitoring included
• Occasional floating to other units
• Floor-specific orientation: 3 shifts
• Common patient diagnoses include CHF, COPD, ESRD, pneumonia, renal failure, sickle cell crisis, orthopedic surgery, bariatric surgery, AMS, and sepsis
• Hospitalist available in-house 24/7
• Respiratory therapy available 24/7
• Must reside 75+ miles from facility address on driver's license
