Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

MRI Tech - MRI Tech

Job Details:

• Work 10-hour shifts with start times at 6:30 AM, 9:00 AM, or 10:30 AM
• Call requirement every 5th weekend plus 1 night per week
• Weekend in-house coverage typically starts at 9:00 AM every 6th weekend
• 2 years of MRI experience required
• Must be MRI certified with ARRT (MR) certification
• GE experience preferred
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA) and Certified MRI Technologist - ARRT (MR)
• Perform 25-30 scans/studies per day including routine, stroke, and trauma imaging
• Responsibilities include patient transport, clerical duties, patient prep, safety screening, scanning, starting IVs, and EMR navigation/documentation
• Work with GE equipment in department with 2 MRI scanners/rooms
• Use Epic EMR and McKesson PACS systems
• No floating to other departments required
• Professional scrubs of any color required (not provided), tattoos must be covered, no body piercings except earrings
• Typically one week orientation period
• Must maintain active Illinois license and pass drug screening
