RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

RN - Cardiac Cath Lab

Job Details:

• Work Monday through Friday with variable start and stop times based on case scheduling
• Weekend and holiday coverage through rotating call schedule
• Call requirements up to 7 days per 4-week schedule with 30-minute response time
• Must be able to scrub in sterile environment
• Work in 2-suite cardiac catheterization lab with average of 5-10 cases per day
• Circulate during procedures, provide patient sedation, and complete documentation requirements
• Handle diagnostic left and right heart catheterizations, PCI, IABP, Impella, temporary pacemakers, and various vascular procedures
• One year of cardiac cath lab or radiology tech experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS and BLS
• Use Siemens software and equipment with EPIC charting system
• Surgical attire provided, lead aprons not provided
• Department-specific orientation includes general hospital orientation, nursing orientation, and up to 36 hours of department training
• No floating requirements but opportunity for extra hours in other units with experience
• BSN not required
