Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Job Details:

• Work 10-hour day shifts in the radiology department
• Required certifications: BLS, ARRT (M) Mammography certification, ARRT (R) Radiologic Technologist certification
• Must be certified through the State of California for mammography
• COVID vaccination required
• Minimum 2 years of mammography and tomography experience required
• Must provide initial digital CE units, initial tomography CE units, and 2 years of mammography and tomography CE units
• Must provide prior mammography numbers for the last 2 years
• Work with scheduled patients at 1 per hour to allow time for inpatients and ER patients
• Use Cerner EMR system for charting
• Hospital provides scrubs
• Orientation length depends on experience and tomography background
• Tomography training and experience highly preferred
• Weekend requirements may apply depending on experience and radiologist approval
• Hospital can cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment

Facility:

This acute care hospital operates a comprehensive radiology department that serves all typical hospital patients including emergency room, operating room, inpatient, and outpatient cases. The facility schedules approximately 15 radiology technologists per 24 hours and maintains modern equipment including Siemens CT scanners and Phillips ultrasound equipment. The radiology department is supported by a full management team including coordinators, managers, and supervisors, with radiologists available on-site or on-call as needed.
