Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

Ultrasound Tech - Ultrasound Tech

Job Details:

• Work 10-hour shifts from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM or 8-hour shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• On-call rotation 2-3 times per week: Monday through Friday from 6:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Weekend requirements are on-call only
• Holiday requirements are on-call only
• Perform approximately 10 scans/studies per day
• Common imaging studies include general ultrasound, OB/GYN, small parts, and Doppler studies of legs/arms
• Must have experience in general ultrasound, OB/GYN, small parts, and Doppler imaging
• Work with department equipment including two GE machines and one Phillips machine
• Use Epic EMR system and Synapse PACS system
• Work in 3-scanner/room department with no floating to other areas required
• Required certifications: ARDMS (RDMS), BLS (AHA)
• Must provide own radiation badge
• Professional colored scrubs required (any professional colors acceptable)
• Must be available for week of orientation in state
• 60-mile radius requirement with driver's license submission required
• No IV starts required
• Radiologist in-house on Wednesdays
