Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

MRI Tech - MRI Tech

Job Details:

• Work 10-hour shifts with typical start times of 6:30 AM, 9:00 AM, or 10:30 AM
• Weekend and call rotation required
• No holiday requirements
• No call or standby requirements
• Perform routine, stroke, and trauma imaging studies
• Complete 25-30 scans/studies per day on average
• Responsibilities include patient transport, clerical duties, patient prep, safety screening, scanning, starting IVs, and EMR navigation/documentation
• Work with 2 MRI scanners in the department
• No floating to other areas required
• Must have 2 years of MRI experience and MRI certification
• GE experience preferred
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), Certified MRI Technologist - ARRT (MR) Verification
• Active Illinois license required
• Use Epic EMR system and McKesson PACS system
• Work with GE department-specific equipment
• Professional scrubs of any color required (not provided)
• Must have tattoos covered and no body piercings besides earrings
• Radiologist in-house except for after hours
• Department-specific orientation typically during first week
• 12-hour orientation period (non-billable)
• Drug-free campus with required negative drug screen
