Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

Radiation Therapist - Radiation Therapist

Job Details:

• Work Monday through Friday with variable start times between 6:00 AM and 9:00 AM
• 8-hour variable shifts with start times from 6:30 AM to 6:00 PM depending on need
• Treatment hours typically 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• No weekend or holiday requirements
• No call or standby requirements
• Based out of Nampa but may float to other locations within the Treasure Valley including Boise, Meridian, and Fruitland
• Perform 20-40 scans/studies per day depending on site with at least 2 treating therapists on duty
• Common imaging/studies include 3D, IMRT, SBRT, SRT/SRS, and CT simulation on rare occasions
• Must have 2-3 years of radiation therapy experience minimum
• Must have Varian True Beam experience for Treasure Valley locations
• Must be proficient with ARIA (EMR to record and verify)
• Epic experience preferred
• Triology experience preferred
• IV experience preferred but not required
• Required certifications: ARRT-Radiation Therapy, BLS
• Clean, neat scrubs of any color or appropriate pattern or business casual attire required
• Department-specific orientation provided, usually 1 shift per site depending on floating expectations
• Work with department-specific equipment including Varian, Siemens, and Toshiba machines
• Cancellation policy: 4 shifts per 13-week assignment

The facility features state-of-the-art linear accelerators and CT simulators at each site, with radiation oncologists and mid-level providers available for patient care. The organization maintains high standards for cancer treatment and utilizes modern technology including ARIA and Epic electronic medical record systems to ensure quality patient care and treatment verification.
