RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Acute Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work four 12-hour shifts per week from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM
• Patient ratios of 1:5, possibly 1:6 for both day and night shifts
• Every other weekend requirement with holidays as needed
• Must live within 75-mile radius from hospital based on driver's license address
• Minimum 2 years of specialty experience required
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA) and NIHSS (both must be AHA)
• BSN not required
• Work on 44-bed unit with 40 staff members
• Scrub color requirement: Caribbean Blue
• Float to all acute care units and cardio for medical patients, or emergency department for acute care patient holds
• Work with CNAs at ratios of 1:8, generally 1:10, who also serve as sitters
• Telemetry patients present but monitored on different unit
• EMR system: Meditech (experience preferred but not required)
• General orientation: 1 week including EMR training
• Floor-specific orientation: 2 days
