RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts
• Work in a team care model with 24-bed unit on 2nd floor of main hospital
• Average daily census of 14 patients
• Care for patients with specialties including oncology, renal, urology, general surgery, gynecology, psych/detox, ENT, and general medicine
• Must pass open book exam during orientation on Friday with 90% score or face contract termination
• Required certifications: BLS Certification
• Must be located outside 50-mile radius from facility
• Cannot be employed full-time, part-time, or PRN with any CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity facility
• Artificial nails prohibited - refusal to remove will result in contract termination
• Must respond within 30 minutes if called back from on-call status
• BSN required
• Valid nursing license required at submission
• Driver's license required at submittal
• Use EPIC charting system
• Blocked scheduling not approved unless weekends only
• Hospital can cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment
