Description
RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.
Opportunity:
RN - Tele Float Pool
Job Details:
• Work 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM)
• Required to work 6-9 weekend shifts in a 6-week schedule
• Must float within Zone 3 covering a 60-mile radius around Denver City Center
• Float between OrthoColorado Hospital, Longmont United Hospital, St. Anthony Hospital, and St. Anthony North Hospital
• Must live within 60 miles of each facility in the zone
• No home base facility - assignments vary by schedule
• Schedules released 4-6 weeks in advance with two assignment formats: scheduled at single facility for the week or just-in-time assignments 1-2 hours before shift start
• May float to multiple units including General MS-Tele, Cardiac, Neuro, Oncology, Rehab, Renal, Bariatrics, Ortho, Trauma, and ED Observation
• Nurse to patient ratios: 1:5-6 based on acuity
• May be asked to float to other acuity levels including ICU, PCU/Stepdown, and MS-Tele
• Required to titrate Heparin drips
• 1-2 days orientation with preceptor
• Must have 2 years MS-Tele experience; prior neuro experience preferred
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), NIHSS
• Any color scrubs permitted
• EPIC charting system
• May be placed in holiday rotation
• Hospital can cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment

Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
