Description
RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - CVOR
Job Details:
• Work day shift from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM with negotiable shift times
• One weekday call requirement per week
• One weekend call requirement per month (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) in rotation with staff
• Holiday call preferred but not required
• Call response time is 30 minutes with on-site call room available
• Work in 16 operating suites including 3 CVOR suites
• Handle approximately 30 cases per day with 1-2 heart surgeries daily
• Common procedures include open heart, TAVR, open/endovascular, and thoracic surgeries
• Open heart experience and/or endovascular experience required
• Limited scrubbing required - only to scrub in to hold the heart and help close chest
• Float to general OR as needed or within Zone 1 facilities during extreme staffing needs
• One week unit-specific orientation required
• Hospital provided light blue scrubs
• Epic EMR charting system
• Required certification: BLS (AHA)
• ACLS preferred
• BSN not required
• Hospital may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment

This acute care hospital features a comprehensive cardiovascular operating room with 16 total operating suites including 3 dedicated CVOR suites. The facility performs a high volume of cardiac procedures including open heart surgeries, TAVR procedures, and various endovascular interventions. The cardiovascular program is supported by experienced OR technicians and maintains modern equipment and technology to provide advanced cardiac surgical services to the community.

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
