RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - ICU

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour shifts from 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM or 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM
• Every other weekend scheduling required, typically 2 weekends per month but may be more based on unit needs
• Must be willing to float to PCU and Med Surg as needed, travelers are first to float
• May require up to 2 extra shifts per 6 weeks
• Patient ratios of 1:1 or 1:2 depending on acuity level
• Work in 10-bed ICU with average daily census of 5+ patients
• Care for patients with open hearts, CHF, COPD, overdoses, sepsis, CVAs with TPA, DKA, and some neuro cases
• Treat adults and patients under 8 years of age in ICU setting
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS
• Minimum 2 years ICU experience required including cardiac experience
• Experience required with IABP, Impella, CRRT, and Day 2/Day 3 post-op CABGs
• EPIC charting system experience required
• Nebraska or compact nursing license required in active and good standing
• Scrub colors: Navy blue, black, or charcoal grey
• Must be punctual, clock out for lunch, termination likely after 3 call-outs
• Holiday coverage: 1 major and 1 minor holiday required
