RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Cardiac Cath Lab

Job Details:

• Work four 10-hour shifts per week with flexible start and stop times based on case scheduling
• Up to 7 days of call per schedule with 1-2 late shifts required
• Weekend and holiday rotation required
• On-call requirement: One week per four-week schedule (Monday 7 AM to following Monday 7 AM) with 30-minute response time
• Weekend call requirement: Friday after hours until Monday morning 0700
• Must have scrub experience and be able to scrub in procedures
• Primary responsibilities include circulating, sedating patients, and completing documentation requirements
• Work with 2 suites/labs handling 5-10 cases per day on average
• Common procedures include diagnostic left and right heart caths, PCI, IABP, Impella, temporary pacemaker, TCAR, EVAR, EKOS, AIF, IVC filters
• Prior Cardiac Cath Lab experience required with minimum one year of experience
• Required certifications: ACLS and BLS
• Work with Siemens software and equipment and EPIC charting system
• Surgical attire provided (lead not provided)
• Comprehensive orientation including general hospital orientation, nursing orientation, computer training, and up to 36 hours of department-specific orientation
• No floating requirements but opportunity for extra hours in other units if qualified
• BSN not required
