Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

Nuclear Medical Technician - Nuclear Med Technician

Job Details:

• Work 8-hour day shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Perform 5-10 scans/studies per day including cardiac, SPECT, bone scans, bleed studies, and gastric emptying procedures
• Operate GE equipment in single scanner/room department
• May float to downtown location approximately 6.5 miles away
• Use Radnet and Merge Unity EMR/PACS systems
• Chart in Cerner system
• Work under supervision of Lead Tech with radiologist in-house
• Minimum 2 years of nuclear medicine experience required
• Required certifications: BLS and CA NMTL
• On-call responsibilities after 4:30 PM on weekdays (rotating schedule)
• Rotating weekend call requirements
• Rotating holiday on-call coverage
• Teal scrubs required
• IV insertion not required
• Hospital may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment
