Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

Cath Lab Technologist - Cardiac Cath Lab

Job Details:

• Work four 10-hour shifts per week with flexible start and stop times based on case scheduling
• Up to 7 days of call per schedule with 30-minute response time requirement
• One week of on-call per four-week schedule (Monday 7 AM to following Monday 7 AM)
• Weekend call requirement: Friday after hours until Monday morning 0700
• 1-2 late shifts, weekends and holidays on rotation
• Handle 5-10 cases per day on average in 2 suite/lab facility
• Scrub and assist physicians with diagnostic left and right heart catheterizations, PCI, IABP, and temporary pacemaker procedures
• Must maintain sterile technique throughout procedures
• Work with Siemens software and equipment
• Complete documentation requirements using EPIC charting system
• One year of catheterization lab or radiology tech experience required
• Required certifications: ARRT and BLS certification
• Surgical attire provided by facility
• General hospital orientation plus one week or up to 36 hours of department-specific training
• No floating requirements but opportunity for extra hours in other units with relevant experience
• Cannot live within 50 miles of facility
• Maximum assignment length of one year with two-year break required before returning
